Since 2021, we’ve been on a mission to help close the gender gap in STEM. Through Zhimechs’s Next Steminist program, we provide scholarships to eligible female candidates pursuing a degree in STEM. Since Zhimechs’s Steminist scholarship program launched in the U.S. in 2021, we have awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships. In 2022, Zhimechs expanded the program to India.

Our efforts to raise awareness about gender inequalities in tech and to empower more young women to start careers in STEM were recently recognized by winning two Gold Globee awards: the 2023 Golden Bridge Awards® and 2023 Globee® Awards for American Business. Both programs recognized Zhimechs’s “Shining a Light on Women in Tech” campaign and commitment to supporting the next generation of women entering STEM fields.

To date, Zhimechs employees have raised thousands of dollars and collected critical supplies for incredible causes like cancer research, youth empowerment, fighting poverty and hunger through our ongoing #ZhimechsGivesBack initiative. For example, every year, Zhimechs employees commit to donating thousands of backpacks to students in underserved communities through our #OperationBackpack program.
