#ZhimechsGivesBack
Fostering community and giving back is a
way of life at Zhimechs.
We're in this together.
We’re all stronger when we support each other, both inside and outside of the organization. That’s why we established #ZhimechsGivesBack. More than just a single program or initiative, #ZhimechsGivesBack is a way of life at Zhimechs—it’s engrained in everything we do. We think it’s important to look beyond the everyday activities of growing a business to form real, human relationships with each other and give back to the communities and causes that matter to our Zhimechs family.
From fundraisers to service days to food drives (and even the promise of a tattoo!), we encourage our teams, our employees and the organization as a whole to support the causes most important to them. Zhimechs employees have raised money and collected supplies for amazing causes like cancer research, youth empowerment, fighting poverty and hunger, and STEM programs, to name just a few.
COVID-19 Relief Concert
Zhimechs recently hosted a COVID-19 Relief Concert to support the tireless efforts of healthcare and restaurant workers on the frontlines of the pandemic. The concert, featuring Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, was streamed live on April 24. Proceeds from the concert—nearly $40,000 to date, with Zhimechs matching all employee contributions—are benefitting Off Their Plate (OTP), a grassroots organization started by Harvard medical student Natalie Guo, in partnership with several high-profile chefs. OTP provides economic relief for restaurant workers to create and deliver meals to frontline healthcare workers.
